I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Electronic Arts (Charlottetown, PE)
Interview
Initial steps were painless, submitted work examples and had a telephone conversion with studio head. Invited to final interview at Studio within the week with flights and expenses paid. Nightmare itinerary with missing hotel bookings for overnights which all had to come off my credit card and claim for later. An over the top grueling 8 hour interview at the studio followed by not getting the job offer.
Traditional interview process with 3-4 stages and a design test. The design test seemed somewhat vague and it was tricky to work out how specific they were hoping you'd be in the test. Furthermore, although the specific role I applied for was in design, it sounded like they were looking for someone much more in tune with bug-fixing.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Electronic Arts (Orlando, FL) in Jul 2023
Interview
I was first contacted by an internal recruiter. Their initial emails were incorrectly sorted into my spam folder, so make sure you check your emails carefully. The recruiter sent me a list of interview question to provide written answers to. Upon sending my responses back, I had a 30 minute remote interview with the recruiter to go over the opportunity. The recruiter then set up an hour long remote interview with senior leadership at the studio. Everyone was friendly, positive, and professional.
