I made it about three months into the process with no end in sight before I called it quits. The first part is a qualifying round with a Recruiter where you discuss your background and compensation. This never ending process included round upon round of interviews, a half day assessment exercise during the work day, several video-game-like assessment tests, and more rounds of interviews, and a few touch points with a Recruiter. At month 3 the recruiter touched base to re-touch upon comp where she said the role would pay 15k less than our original discussion. I withdrew mainly due to the time involved and that most interviewers were also looking for new jobs
