I went through three rounds of the process over an entire month. The process takes too long and too much rounds to go through. It feels like a waste of time to apply here. All of my effort seems useless.
After applying, HR called me to ask for basic information such as my expected salary and the reason I applied. Then they sent the first-round assignment, which I had 7 days to complete. It was about building a movie ticket reservation website. The assignment included UI design and requirements to implement. I completed it in 2 days and submitted it.
In the second round, I was asked technical questions (no LeetCode) about frontend, backend, and basic system design. I also had to design a database with an ER diagram at the end.
In the third round, I interviewed with the CEO. It was mostly basic behavioral questions, such as what kind of work I like and don’t like and etc.
During the interview, the CEO said I seemed to be a good fit for the role. However, the next day I was rejected without explanation. It’s very confusing.
