Applied Thru The Company's Website on a Saturday Morning and by Late Afternoon was called for a phone screen then went in for an interview Monday Afternoon. That was fine. I showed up to the interview with enthusiasm for the home décor store. I even showed the Manager that I made notes on there curated artisans and designers that they featured in the store. He seemed positively receptive.
But, do not let that fool you. And, do not let the Front-Cashier(s) personnel tell you that his "perceived" kindness will get you hired. I do not know exactly what kind-of-specific "type" they want to hire but their manner is misleading. If the Manager gives you a business card that does not mean he will consider you for hire. Also, this particular location was listed as hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time Sales Associates so that made me think that there were more than just one opening, but I guess not. I have read other negative reviews from job-seekers who added their comments in (Glassdoor's Interview section). I see why there is turn-over. Advice to job-seeker: Read Glassdoor 's Interview comments by other job-seeker before you decide to apply for the job. It might save you from wasting your time and and getting disappointed.
