Process was fairly straightforward and consisted of - recruiter screen - code test - on site (includes system design, code test, behavioral) I found the code test interviewer to be arrogant. It was a closed book code test so they did not allow any documentation access. They had their camera turned off. In python they insisted that I should be using float to store money amounts despite me sharing that this is not precise enough and that Decimal classes are used in industry for this reason. Interviewer did not listen and again insisted that float is a better option. For context I have 3 years of experience writing code that serves prices in 30 currencies used around the world. After the on site they decided not to move forward. They asked for feedback from me, the candidate, and did not share any feedback on their side. This was not a good experience as a candidate.

Screener with a Capital One Recruiter. Took a Technical test through a third party testing site. Follow up with Capital One Recruiter. Power Day consisted of 4 60 minute remote interviews. Call from the Capital One Recruiter several days later with the rejection notice.
