The interview process was positive and fair. I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn and was encouraged to apply. From there I was invited to Richmond, VA for an on-site interview. Capital One paid for my flight, hotel, and $75/day for food. On the day of the interview, I, along with a group of other interviewees, were given a tour of the campus by current engineers in the development program and was able to ask a lot of questions about the role and the company culture. After lunch, I had three 45-minute interviews back to back, with a 15 minute break between the second and third. The interview was broken up into three sections: behavioral, technical, and a case analysis. the behavioral interview does not take the full 45 minutes, so you get to ask questions at the end. The technical interview was fair and nothing out of the ordinary. They are not trying to trick you. Just walk through your logic and definitely talk it through with your interviewer. Two days later, I received a call from my recruiter with an offer. Overall, I had a great experience.
