      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Plano, TX) in Aug 2012

      Interview

I was contacted through a recruiting agency. Since I live and originate from Colorado and am in the process of moving to TX my interviews were done via phone. The first interview was with a manager and he basically just told me more about the position and it was basically a Q&A session. The second interview took longer to get scheduled because the manager was on PTO. Once she got back we interviewed and we went more in detail about the job and day to day functions. Within 2 hours of that interview ending I had another phone interview scheduled for the next day. The last one was the most difficult because it was explaining their processes and if I had similar experience and situations. The first interviewer was based in Plano, TX which is where the job is located but the other two interviewers were based in Richmond, VA. I heard back from the recruiter within 36-48 hours with my offer.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Capital One (London, England) in Sep 2016

      Interview

I went into the Capital One offices for interview. Started out badly as when I was in the reception, a member of staff coming in saw me, walked into the open offices and said "you will know in 1 minute if you want to hire this one", not realising I could hear. Which made it clear something about my appearance was the deciding factor. I then had a VC interview with two interviewers and then a final interview with two interviewers face to face.
