I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Sep 2017
Interview
Was flown out to Richmond. Most people either fly out to Richmond orMcLean. McLean is where their big tech HQ is. Really nice offices, really nice people! Capital One is really, REALLY heavily investing towards moving towards a tech company. Most other companies try to do this, but it actually felt real when I visited Capital One.
Three interviews: Behavioral, Case, and Technical.
Behavioral is whatever.
Case interview is mostly just using basic logic and some math to derive answers. Don't stress on it too much. It's kind of like, making decisions based on your math answers. The people are REALLY helpful if you need it!
Technical: 3 questions.
1) Design based
2) Coding
3) Coding
They gave 45 minutes for it. Got all three 20.
Got offer within 2 hours.
