I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CGI (Halifax, NS) in Nov 2019
Interview
HR called after receiving the resume and arranged for actual video interview over Microsoft teams. The interview went good and the interviewer was engaging as well. The worst part was after the interview. I tried contacting the HR after a week for feedbacks, but no luck to all my emails. Didn't expect a big firm like CGI to not care to even provide feedback to candidates.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most of the questions were about previous experience.
They also asked about technical experience and few technical questions.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at CGI in Jun 2026
Interview
In the initial stage interviews are faster when it comes to last stage "UAN" verification its dead slow. After this HR is not responding properly. Initial stage its quite easier to get information.
CGI scheduled the interview for 30 minutes and there was only one interviewer. He initially asked basic questions about background and experience. He explained about the company and was open to questions
Was super laid back and casual, the interviewer was super nice! Still had typical interview questions (describe a time where..., etc) but overall pretty stress-free first-round interview.
Lasted about 40-45 minutes as the interviewer was very conversational as well. Only advice I can give is to be personable and have a conversation.
