Met with 2 managers and the director. The director was incredibly pretentious. They don't tell you that there's a 'bench' where you're in between contracted jobs. The DE work at Avanade is basically contract work as an employee of Avanade. This means your job isn't stable and purely based on the market. If you're on the bench too long you'll get fired. On top of this, they want you to travel to the work sites of other companies and the distance can change based on project assignments. Simply put, there are too many inconvenience and the pay isn't very competitive.
