Interview
I applied at an event at my university and was sent a HackerRank challenge a few days later. I found it to be one of the easiest HackerRanks I've been sent, mostly because they chose a problem that was easily solvable within the time period plus a couple of multiple choice questions. After I that I was scheduled for two technical phone interviews with members of different teams, then based on my team preferences talked to a couple different managers of the teams I'd be working with and they followed more of a resume review + fit questions. Overall the process went very smoothly, especially considering the range of teams I ended up talking to in the end.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic data structure questions - merge two sorted linked lists and some questions about binary trees. Overall they were problems that I had to think about, but not intimidating at all. Plus all my interviewers were very nice and made it clear that they were able to give hints and help out - definitely interviews more focused on how you think rather than just coding the correct solution.
Firstly you start with two Preliminary home assignments :
Coding interview about 1-2 hres
behavioral interview 1-2 hres
Then final interview which is live with a software engineer. That’s about it.
