First there was a Screening interview with HR, then the Main Interview with hiring manager, and lastly the Director interview. All the interviews were pretty timely and very casual. I felt really relaxed.

Got a quick phone interview: went well Then I had an interview with the manager: went well. Finally had an interview with the team members: went well But got rejected. Why? Because they were looking for behavioural and team skills in a technical interview. Asked me all the technical questions but the recruiter told me that I didn't have team collaboration skills. Not even once was I asked about team building questions, team management, and team sharing and as a matter of fact the interviewers were themselves bragging that they review their code on their own, publish their code , and approve their merge requests themselves, and push their code in production "WITH CONFIDENCE" without any review. lol. They themselves are loner engineers but were magically expecting me to show team-building skills in a strict technical...yes, technical interview. None of the interviews had the ability to take an interview. They couldn't even smile. Just asked questions like a bot. I myself had to take the responsibility to calm the dark atmosphere but each of the interviewers were like tone deaf. This is their so-called "teamwork" and were expecting me to show team collaboration

The initial interview setup was quick and efficient. Did not follow through with the promised response date and I emailed the interviewer multiple times with no replies. Eventually I was sent a message regarding the result many days after the initial promised date.
- Why do you want to work for us

From start to finish, their process was efficient and professional, always friendly The initial communication was clear and informative about the role and its responsibilities. The recruiter provided detailed information on the timeline for the hiring process, any additional materials required for consideration, and contact information in case of any questions or clarifications. They also gave me a few days to review all of this before scheduling an initial phone call with one of their team members. The call itself was very encouraging. Instead of focusing solely on my skills and qualifications, the interviewer asked me questions about my career interests, goals and values which allowed them to better understand how I would fit in their culture. As someone who is always looking for ways to grow professionally, it was incredibly meaningful to be able to express myself as a human first and an employee second. After a few days of reflection on our conversation, they invited me in for an in-person interview at their office where I met with several members of the team who were equally friendly and professional during our conversations. Each person asked focused questions that allowed us to dive deeper into specific aspects of the role while also sharing valuable feedback that further prepared me for future opportunities elsewhere if needed. Through these talks I gained greater insight into the company's mission, vision and values which ultimately made it easier decision when they offered me the position shortly after! All throughout this process I felt respected by everyone involved from start to finish; as a result, I am confident that Article is a great place to work where employees are given adequate resources to excel in their roles.
