I applied online and got an invitation to a phone interview. The interview felt like we skipped the standard questions and got right into the obvious ones that my resume should raise. The conversation developed fairly organic, with a few targeted questions thrown in here and there. A month later, the recruiter got back to me with lots of good feedback and information about why I did not get into the next round (the position was changed to a director role).
