      Team Manager Interview

      Aug 10, 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Wilmington, MA
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at American Income Life (Wilmington, MA) in Jun 2017

      Interview

Its a trap! A lot of red flags, all young guys with very few content and few information. The indeed ad was confusing and kept changing its title and content during the days. Asked for Tema supervisor / representative (witch one, dudes?) and finally sales rep, berfore going offline. Many of the other people wisely descrubed here @ Glassdoor how it works, i wont repeat it here. The speedy interview is pathetic. The group dynamics afterwards are really silly, no descriptions, a lot of "you are going to get a lot of money" crap. The owner Serur parked his Maseratti in the front of the buindilg strategecly to impress the fools. They call you at the end of the day or in the day after to say that you are pre aproved and that you have to come to another interview with $140 . This is really insane. Run tu the hills. This company is a real scam.

      Team Manager Interview

      Oct 17, 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Saint Louis, MO
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Income Life (Saint Louis, MO) in Oct 2014

      Interview

I was cold called by an individual named "Dean" who would not divulge a last name, nor discuss any aspects of the positions (claims representative or team manager) they contacted me to interview for. I asked if he had any questions about my resume or work history, and he stated he was not allowed too call and to show up at their office at 10:15 for the job interview. When I showed up, it was certainly NOT a job interview for either of the roles they hooked me in for. It was a lobby full of other people they had sign in, fill out minor paperwork and then meet with a company recruiter who could not have been more than 19 years old. He never interviewed me about either role, he just gave me a sales pitch about their company and asked me how I liked my last job and how I would love their company so much more. Then told me that their mandatory work week is 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday through Saturday with Sunday off. And that after I talked to him I would be going to a "seminar" next week to hear more about the company history and pay, benefits, and culture. He then asked if I could accommodate the hours, and I stated I take care of my father who is a disabled veteran on Saturday, and would not be able to make that day. His question, "Can't you do it on Sunday!?" At that point I thanked him for his time and left. There was never any job they wanted to interview me for. It was a cattle call to see who is desperate enough to attend the next steps.
