I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at American Express (New York, NY) in Jan 2013
Interview
You may never receive a phone call or post card. In that case, you know they have a candidate in mind for a position. If you hear the senior leader tell you it is not their decision to select the final candidate, you are done. Move on to next job opportunity. Two phone calls, 2 in-person. Final interview was senior leader.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What motivates you? Tell me about a time when you failed. Who is your mentor? How do you handle a situation when you lose a big deal/account? Many questions probing around your reaction to failure. Be careful, but honest when you answer the questions. Do not take bait and offer limited information about your personal interests.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at American Express (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Dec 2024
Interview
had a really positive interview experience with American Express for the Business Development Associate role. The interviewers were professional, engaging, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The questions were thoughtful and gave me a chance to truly express my strengths and passion for the role. It felt more like a conversation than an interrogation, which I really appreciated.
there are total 3 rounds of the interview
first ground- phone interview with HR
second round and third round, there are the zoom interview with the line manager and director
