Received a call from a recruiter about an open position. First round behavioral interview was setup quickly. Person was very friendly and it felt more like a conversation than an interview. Recruiter called me shortly afterward with a glowing report and wanted to set up an interview with the actual hiring manager. During that interview, the hiring manager was very stilted and distant, as if she had other stuff on her mind. Tried my best to keep an upbeat tone and sound positive. Signed off with telling me that I would receive a decision soon. Was ghosted after that with no follow up.

Applied online, received email for phone interview, got one later in the day. Awkward phone interview as there was a delay between questions. Mostly general questions such as: Why did you decide to apply for this position? What worldwide projects have you done? Best skill?
