      Financial Crimes Analyst Interview

      Jun 14, 2012
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Phoenix, AZ
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 4 days. I interviewed at American Express (Phoenix, AZ) in Jun 2011

      Interview

I applied online and received an email from a recruiter who wanted to set up a quick phone interview. Scheduled the phone interview for the next day. It took about 20 minutes and they ask about your current/recent work history. Your answers should be very detailed. Will also ask about how your experience relates to the position. If you pass, they will schedule you for a group/panel interview. There will be about 10 people in a room with someone from HR. HR will go over things about the company while people are taken out 1 at a time to interview with 2 managers. So I was called in a room and asked 2 questions by 2 managers, then I was put back in the group room for awhile and then called into another room with 2 different managers and 2 different questions. You end up interviewing with 6 different managers and 12 questions. Then the HR person tells everyone they will get a call or email if you go to the next round which is a SAR test. You have to write a SAR based on information they give you. I received a decline email 2 hours after the interview so I never made it to the SAR test which is a shame because I write killer SARS, i just interview badly.
