      Mar 15, 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Fort Worth, TX
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at American Airlines (Fort Worth, TX) in Feb 2016

      Interview

1 - Applying online (takes between 1 to 2 hours) 1.1 - Receive a email to to a video interview in 5 days with 6 question recorded and 3 minutes to answer (dress very professionally). 2 - 4 weeks of waiting. Received a call scheduling a flight to Dallas 3 - Group interview schedule flight to Forth Worth - TX 3.1 - Call them to check whereto to go to get a van that give you a ride to the headquarters 3.2 - Everybody in the interview process looks very nice, always smiling and talking with others applicants. 3.3 - They take you to the room with around 6 tables and 8 chairs, so they start calling names and ask your ID, passport expiration date, resume and letter of recomendation if you have it. 3.4 - Draw a big circle with 3 common characteristics between all people in your table 3.4 - Write down describing a unique characteristic about each of one in the table around the circle 3.5 - All the people have to go to the front of the room and say about a unique characteristic of another person in the group and the table after you have to guess what each one we are talking about writing their names and linking to the characteristic related. 4 - All recruiters (around 6) they walk around making notes. 5 - I think 15 Break 6 - Come back to the room and they call around 10 people to go to another room with 10 chairs. 6.1- 2 recruiters probably 1 psychologist and 1 that we met before give cards with secret questions to each one. 6.2 - In no order time when you feel you can answer the card question, you stand up and read the question and answer. You have 30 seconds to answer. 7 - Go back to the main room and they ask you if anyone have more questions and they start to call one by one by name. 8 - If you are taken to do 2 physical test, fingerprint and 1 to 1 interview you mostly passed and they tell you that they gonna contact you in 5 business days, if not they thank you for coming and walk you out and say that they gonna analyze your evaluation and answer in 2 weeks... PS: I got contact from few people in there. Three aren't taken to the last step. One and me got the email in 1 week saying no. One still waiting to hear from them and even called twice already. One got to the final interview and they told 5 days for a answer but nothing yet.

      Question 1

Can you tell me a little about yourself? Why do you wanna be a flight attendant? What was your proudest moment in a job? If you met a genie and he would give you 3 wishes, what you would ask? (I think I didn't do good on this one)
