I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2022
Interview
First Round was phone screening. Couple of leadership principle with past experience and also BGP traffic engineering questions.
next is loop round. There was some questions about platform side like whats the component of switch/memory (not sure why they asked specifications its all in google). I could not answer since i had worked long back on those hardwares
I was super confident about the interview as i answered very well on all networking questions.
Finally got rejected phone call after 5 days. The reason being not strong enough on technical area.
I would have been happy if they had rejected me on compensation/visa reasons. But this rejection cannot digest.
what a waste of time and effort. One thing i got to know is NDE engineers at amazon are not so great as we think and They do not follow their own Leadership principle ; Hire and Develop the Best.
