I have about 40k in traditional 401k at Meryl from my previous big4 employer. This is the first time ever changing jobs and I feel totally confused with what to do with the 401k. Any advice please? Amazon has fidelity and It alllws rollover old 401k into a rollover ira. Is it work keeping as is , or rollover into ira(Roth/traditional) at Meryl or move to fidelity.
Is it a bad sign if a recruiter looked at your profile on LinkedIn but you haven’t heard back yet? For context, applied to Amazon last Thursday, noticed the recruiter checked my profile this Tuesday. Could it be the short holiday week meant they weren’t working? Or is it a sign they won’t be reaching out?
I've got an interview at Amazon (specifically AWS) for a non-technical position this week. Is AWS as bad as they say it is, even for non-engineers? 😅 Also, I never realized how mediocre AMZ's benefits are...what are some of the reasons (besides RSUs) that would make anyone work there over other tech companies???
What are people spending on client holiday gifts? What are you giving? How many gifts are you giving? I’ll go first; 50 $42 cheese/fudge baskets locally made 50 $15 Christmas cookies locally made 100 boxes of Christmas Ribbon candy $10 from Amazon 10 $50 floral arrangements for out of state clients This covers my top clients

Hi all! Got an offer to join a large tech company salary increase from my current role would be ~15%, stock options,~10k sign on bonus, ~15 yearly performance bonus plus other perks. Anyone here work at any large tech companies (Facebook, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, SalesForce, Toast etc.) as an admin? Is it worth the move from consulting? What is the work life balance like, overall pay and benefits, paid time off etc?
the package is ok, compared to other companies. no free gym, no free meal. not enough PTO
The worst work environment .
