I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Dallas, TX) in May 2021
Interview
Round 1. Assessment
Round 2. Meeting with 4 Amazonian back to back ( technical and Behavioral )
They test on the leadership principle which amazon swear upon.
But the interviewers never have a clear picture about what they want from a candidate . They won't value a candidates time and efforts.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Ashburn, VA) in Sep 2025
Interview
There were 4 interview phases. The first one was personality based and generic, the following were all technical with different individuals. It was a standard interview but I’d say you get brownie points for knowing their leadership principles.
