So This happened two times with me, in 1 year. First time they contacted me for an interview of Applied Scientist Position, I said okay. Then I got no reply from them for 3 days, and then I again mailed them, asking about situation and status. Recruiter Replied, they decided to move with other Candidates.
similar thing happened just again, Got mail from a recruiter asking if I am free to give the online assessment test, and gave details of the interview on site as well. I replied yes, and as usual I started preparing hard for the process, and again they followed up by saying they decided to move with other candidates.
Its very unprofessional on their end, they should contact students once they have assessed their profile perfectly. Graduate Students have other things as well, university load, job hunt, Part time jobs. If I am leaving everything to prepare for this interview, and getting rejected without being interviewed it's very unprofessional.
