      Campus Recruiting Coordinator Interview

      Jan 7, 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Maitland, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Maitland, FL) in Dec 2018

      Interview

An ADP recruiter reached out to me about the position on LinkedIn. I had a brief phone interview with her, and then was immediately scheduled for an in-person interview for 2 weeks later. During that time, I had another phone interview with a different recruiter. The in-person interview was with two of their recruiters at their Maitland office. It lasted about 40 minutes, where they asked me a bunch of situational questions, questions about my career plans, and to see if I would work well in their office setting. I then had to take two skills assessments, and then got a brief tour of the building. They told me that they would be making all of their hiring decisions by the end of that week. The difficult part is that here I am, over a month later and I NEVER heard back from them. I had emailed a thank you to my original recruiter to send to the Maitland team, and she said that they would "be in touch with next steps soon." I was not expecting to get completely ignored, especially by a company with as good as a reputation as ADP. Although I am upset that I did not get the job, I am even more upset that I have never heard back from them, which clearly shows me how much they care about me, and makes me want to never apply for a job with them again. I have two relatives who used to work for ADP and spoke nothing but highly about them - disappointed is an understatement.

      Campus Recruitment Coordinator Interview

      Mar 28, 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (London, England) in Nov 2016

      Interview

The interview was for ADP but onsite at Goldman Sachs. It comprised of a phone screening and then 2 interviews. The first interview went well. I met 4 people: 2 people each in 2 interviews for half an hour each (1 hour in total). I met with the 2 current people who are doing the same role and their direct managers. They asked questions which allowed me to discuss if I had the relevant experience and skills to the role. The second interview was more intense and less focused. I met 5 people: 2 people, 2 people and 1 person in 3 interviews in 1.5 hours. The second round were with senior Goldman Sachs employees. Truthfully, it did not seem that these people knew exactly what the job role I applied for required. They spent a lot of the time discussing how it is unlikely for ADP employees onsite would become converted into GS employees. In the 2nd round of interviews, 4 interviewers mentioned how unlikely this conversion is, despite this not being prompted by myself. They spent a lot of time on this as opposed to discussing how I could be suitable for the role or asking if I had the required skills I need to perform the role. The majority of them seem distracted and not mentally present in the interview. After this second round of interviews, 3.5 weeks later I got a one line email from the ADP Client Manager saying I didn't get it with no feedback.

      Interview questions [5]

      Question 1

What is your weakness?...What is your second weakness?
      Answer question

      Question 2

You have some data which you have given to your line manager prior to them going into a meeting/presentation. Once the meeting starts, you realise that you have given them the wrong data (the one from last year). What do you do?
      Answer question

      Question 3

Why do you want to work in HR/Recruitment?
      Answer question

      Question 4

Name a time when you took initiative.
      Answer question

      Question 5
