Good benefits, great pay, work culture is team dependent

I had the worst 8 weeks of my life, the mentor i got assigned didnt had even 1 minute to spend on me and he used to work 9am - 11 pm and also on weekends and expected the same from me. As he use to get regular updates from me in the weekends i also had to put effort. After all the efforts and working almost 12+ hrs everyday i used to be regularly given reviews like "you are just lucky you got here", "how can you not know anything so basic", "i explained you why cant you get it in your head", He made sure to ping me friday evening of all the work items i have to complete over the weekend. I used to feel very alone and used to do the same thing over and over again if it was not working and when i used to ask for help i was asked to do the same thing that i had been doing from past 3 days.

Salesforce cares about your wellbeing. The pay is great, the culture is strong, and the benefits are really unique and well thought out.

The culture could promote more higher performance. Some people can skate by without putting in the work.

Decent pay, good benefits, mostly good culture as compared to other companies. Moves fast in tech.

Very few opportunities for promotion. No uncommon to have a least one reorg per year if not more in recent years.

no sympathy from team leaders for work life balance although the company promote it, lots of hours work every day, tense work environment with no times to refresh. don't have event for developers to connect with the product and there product work

I was penalized for taking advantage of 6 month maternity leave and upper management support my managers decisions. ^ month paid maternity leave is amazing, and I appreciate it but don't expect to come back where you left your career path. You will be behind.
