Does H&M offer massages?

Pros

- Free coffee and fruit - Good colleagues (if they are on the same pay as you) -Free 15min massages on Wednesdays -Central

Cons

If you value your mental health DO NOT apply to work for H&M's Call Centre. They have treated their staff terribly during Covid times and needed to be outed in the news and forced by the government to let their staff work from home, despite being unnessential and ONLY selling clothes. In my 15 years of working retail I have never been treated so badly. They do not care for the staff and give you awful shifts. You could be working 6-day weeks and only get 2 days off together maybe once a month, if that. Good luck getting a weekend off! The work is constantly increasing despite the pay remaining the same (terrible). Zero balance for personal or social life. Every week, you are 'graded' like a student on customer surveys or expected to provide feedback for why an email took a minute longer to type. You have to feedback for everything and sometimes even have to provide feedback for another memberof your team. Your team leader is ALWAYS on your back and asks why you do every little thing despite you following the rules and ways of working etc. That's if you're lucky enough to have a team leader. I have heard from teams who didn't even have a leader for months. No support. The customers are awful and treat you like pond scum. You are constantly expected to take call after call without pause and be a robot, and don't even think about being 1 minute late to clock in. They will call you out, ask why you were late, berate you and give you a warning. Oh, and if they are 'concerned' about your work ethic (a.k.a. working from home with your own personal IT equipment you cannot use the systems on properly and are expected to break for the sake of "working at full capacity" for H&M clothes) you get cornered into a meeting you weren't told about until it started, where it is recorded and your future in the job is decided by a biased team leader. HOWEVER, there are some benefits. You get free fruit and coffee machines in the office, as well as a Wii and table tennis on your break. You can also get free massages on Wednesdays and fantastic banter with colleagues. There's also some great discounts for opticians and other companies. As a guy, I felt comfortable as there were plenty of other guys in the office, so it wasn't just me. But I strongly advise you do not apply here. It will mentally drain even the strongest person. Frankly, I'd rather be homeless than work for H&M again.

Advice to Management
