Pros

Cons
nothing, everything is perfect, even though there are arguments from time to time
Pros
HM is perfect for freelance designers. It is possible to work from home or your own studio, and the pay is fair and according to freelance standards. The work hours are flexible (except for mandatory meetings), and your task can be divided throughout the day if you need to run a quick errand.
Cons
HM has a specific work culture that is not suited for everyone. It can sometimes become a toxic positivity environment where everything is great instead of focusing on getting the work done.
Pros
Some of the colleagues are really great
Cons
The customers are horrendously entitled. They will make ridiculous demands and accuse you of malicious sabotage rather than accepting the situation of their parcel being delayed or lost when its coming from an overseas depot. The company offers zero sick pay for the 1st year of employment so folk who are ill usually still come in spreading germs and colds thus making others sick and needing to take time off. The company also "encoraged people to leave" by heavily reducing the days per month you can work from home. No help was provided to help accommodate this change. Most of the workplace has quit due to it being such an incredibly poor enviroment. They will continously talk about and promote the company values yet at the same time blatently act against them. Overall a terrible place to work. For the pay they offer you can defo do better anywhere else Shifts are awful and youll be working more weekends than advised originally. The system that plans the rota is automatic and often is unfair. Takes a lot of hassel to fix as the burden is put onto you to monitor this constantly. They think giving cake and snacks occassionally will distract from the struggles and show that the care about staff wellbeing. Would not be suprised if the call centre closes for good
Pros
none work from home team was nice
Cons
made me redundant didn’t care for staff or customers
Pros
work from home working pattern
Cons
poor management of the centre.
Pros
Great atmosphere, colleagues, quite flexible. Good workload!
Cons
Salary could definitely be better. Only being able to work from home one day a week.
Pros
Good salary, possibility to work from home and from home country
Cons
- negative environment - work on shift and weekends - rare possibility to evolve
Pros
Nice pay care about their employees. Always looking into ways to improve. You get to work from home.
Cons
Information is everywhere and not in 1 place. They have 1 place to check updates however info does go into other places that you will need to check from time to time. Some of the work load should be others management responsibility. 8 days out of the month you need to be in office and only 4 u get to choose. The other 4 you have to be scheduled along with your team. I can see being scheduled for team meetings or training but these other 4 days you should be able to choose as well.
Pros
Coffee machines and chatting with colleagues. Gym membership discount and free ten-minute massages once a week by a trained masseuse.
Cons
Avoid this company like the plague. From January 2020 to April 2021, I endured abysmal pay, a management team that actively disregarded staff well-being, and a soul-crushing work-life imbalance that routinely demanded six-day weeks (often with only one day off between weeks). This is a company that fundamentally disrespects its employees – we were all texted after 2020's Lockdown was announced to come into the office, with pre-booked taxis. It was only after an article was published in Edinburgh Live that we were allowed to work from home and then they shamelessly tried to make staff pay more for the privilege of decent home internet/devices to work more efficiently during a pandemic. Add to that a constant barrage of abusive customers and the indignity of timed toilet breaks, micromanaging and immense burnout that you never recover from until you leave. As a "thanks" for our dedication and hard work during a pandemic, when a pay rise was the bare minimum we deserved, they offered a tokenistic pizza party. If you value your mental health, I strongly advise you look elsewhere.
Pros
- Work-life balance - Flexible working arrangements for parents - Creative environment
Cons
- Poor salary progression - Limited possibilities to get promoted despite working overtime on various projects; nepotism is the primary driver of promotions and not competence - With above in mind, there is a lack of competence among most leaders in the organisation. Many of them panic if their department performs poorly during the quarter, and instead of leading the team and trying to solve it they look for people to blame - Constant reorganizations
