    Audible Launches the Sensory Lab in Newark's Washington Park

    Press Releases Audible, joined by the Greater Newark Conservancy, today launched the Sensory Lab, a multisensory outdoor installation in Washington Park that aims to encourage the use of the park by the community throughout the 2019 outdoor season. Audible staff and employees from the Greater Newark Conservancy helped assemble the park installation, which includes new seating areas, planters, tables and solar lighting.

    Amazon's Audible treats employees to lunch to help spur Newark's revival

    Big tech companies are often accused of not contributing to the local economy, so Amazon-owned Audible ( AMZN) came up with a solution: Take its employees out to lunch. Literally. Two years ago, Newark, N.J.-based Audible rolled out its weekly "Lunch Out Wednesdays" program.
