On the management level, there's not as many great people working there. This is of course true in absolute numbers, which doesn't count. But it is also true in relative numbers, and that does count.
Quite plain and simple, these guys have lost their will and ability to listen to what their employees values are - which are the values that made that company have success in the past and be outstanding vs. other companies in the same market. Now it seems they were all about money and numbers. While money and numbers are of serious importance, they must certainly not be the only thing to look for.
