Pros
Opportunity to gain exposure to multiple areas and responsibilities. Decent pay relative to market, especially for those early in their careers. Good place to learn quickly.
Cons
Workload often extends beyond the original job description without corresponding increases in compensation or title. High pressure environment with little tolerance for slow ramp-up; job security can be uncertain if you don’t meet expectations quickly. Company culture is very business-first with minimal focus on employee wellbeing or long term development. Management style can be cutthroat, with limited mentorship or support.
