    I worked at Wipro full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    * The response from the company during the interview process was quick
    * The response from the local HR office was great, once the company had someone in that role locally (as opposed to the HR function being run out of India)
    * For recent immigrants it is a good company to get started

    Cons

    * There were too many people involved and as someone recruited onsite in Canada, it was very difficult to get responses from staff located (HR, Finance) in India
    * It is possibly different for those who join the company in India, but for one recruited onsite, I found there was little in terms of a career growth
    * In general I felt that everything was short term and largely dictated by client requirements with little or no involvement from Wipro

    Advice to Management

    * Reduce bureaucracy
    * Provide more career growth opportunities and not just for those who join the company in India

    I worked at Wipro full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Lots of opportunities to grow
    Open culture
    Lots of Trainings available

    Cons

    Over the years have stopped caring and treating employees with the respect and dignity they deserve. Everything is blamed on Top management or put on company policies. Basically profit is the only goal looks like now.

    Advice to Management

    You need to look at genuine employee concerns and keep a tab on your middle / Sr management who take advantage of the situations.

    Pros

    The training provided is good;
    Management depends on the team you work with;
    Since there are different projects and clients - can easily learn different technologies
    Good for campus recruits

    Cons

    Clients are considered superior;
    Salary increments are not as expected

    Advice to Management

    Employee and clients are equally important
