I have been working at Wipro full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There is a lot of oppourtunities to move into different areas and different locations. I do have many good people that I work with.

    Flexibility for schedules.

    Cons

There is a constant push to move work offshore. When we do so, we spend months providing training only to have the resource leave the company or move to a new role. End up spending more time training than getting work done. This has made many people upset as the expectations to complete their work is still there.

Moral is pretty low as there have been many layoffs with the same expectation of results.

Top level management was really bad and has caused some bad reputation issues. Newer management has been doing better but is really hampered by previous management failures.

    Advice to Management

Manage expectations with the resources you have available. Ensure you do not get rid of people working on critical applications leaving others with no training to pick up.
