Pros

I have never been a part of a company so willing to encourage creativity and reward hard work. In April I started as a 1099 Photographer and was immediately given great training and opportunities to grow the business in my area. After finding out that I would be moving to a town near the company headquarters, Brad (owner) offered me a position as a full-time editor w/ benefits. Shortly after making that transition, he saw my hard work and determination to better the company and I was promoted to Director of Marketing. The entire staff is also invested in helping me grow my own company outside of WindowStill and offer a depth of knowledge in business. If you have the opportunity to work with this community, do it and go all in.

Cons

Honestly, I have worked for a lot of terrible companies. This is the first job where I can look at it, and see a career instead of just a job. Had a few negative people in the office at first but they are gone now.

Pros

- Talented creatives (before they all left or were pushed out). - A few supportive colleagues doing their best in a chaotic environment. - Cool projects - when leadership doesn't get in the way.

Cons

- Post-acquisition leadership is untrustworthy, out of touch, and reactive. - No transparency or direction - just shifting priorities and broken promises. - Culture deteriorated fast: what was once collaborative became silent, defensive, and political. - Leadership lacks experience in high-end media or client relationships but insists on controlling it. - Talented people are overlooked, ignored, or pushed out. - “Luxury” is used as a buzzword, but there’s no understanding of what it actually requires. - Zero investment in growth, team morale, or retention - just micromanagement and ego. - Success is punished with more work, not more support or recognition.
