Pros

-HR Team was exceptional: I had some health issues and Holly was very helpful, Charlotte the MD too. They both have a lot of good will from me. (Also HR is fun and not stuffy, which is a miracle) -Some really passionate specialists who know their channels profoundly -A lot has been done around agency development and the agency product has really improved -Libby -Really great clients, if you have the chance to work with Vitality I would 100% recommend, but across the board clients are lovely - A bit of a blessing and a curse: the agency is still relatively small so there is a lot of visibility and interaction with everyone -As WIM is part of MSQ there are lots of opportunities for involvement and if you don't find your people in the agency (because it's small) there are drinks every Thursday where you can meet more people -I've learn more about how to be an ally to the neurotypical community in 2 years than the 10 I previously worked in media -Apprenticeship programme brings lots of diverse people to the agency. For such a small agency it is incredibly robust.

Cons

- As a small agency one person can really impact the mood of the agency which is really hard to manage - It can be quite hard work if you don't get along with someone (personality conflicts) because you do have to work with them constantly, it's really best to have it out early and not let things fester -There is a workstream about onboarding so this has massively improved, but it can feel a bit tricky to integrate when everyone knows each other so well, it really just takes a bit of time and effort. If someone says coffee and you hear/see them get up, you're invited, but people don't always think to specifically invite others because it's known as an open invite- that stuff threw me when I started. - The only big one for me is that it's quite inconsistent around targets and personal KPIs. HR has been pushing this, but it's been a bit challenging and for me progression wasn't clear. -Similarly, some of the ad hoc feedback hasn't been done in the best way, but again HR are pushing to change this and I have seen improvements even during my notice period - Because everyone and everything is quite visible there can be some additional stress that trickles down

Toxic Environment

Pros

The location General office space

Cons

It was a very toxic work environment, and I never felt or made to feel welcomed to the team. There was lots of backstabbing and lying from senior people in the agency. small cliques that if you were not "in" you were made or felt pushed out

Don't bother

Pros

Hybrid working Good location (Covent Garden) Nice office space A few decent individuals Wider agency group / parent company (MSQ) is lovely

Cons

Toxic environment. Awful Senior Leadership Team and CEO. Nepotism-esque feel where the CEO only employees his friends and gives special treatment to his golden circle - if you're not in it, don't expect a look in. Over-run by Grads who are either overworked and under-appreciated or entitled and with no basic business principles or respect. Gossip is rife, clicks are ridiculous, you will feel like you are at school by how childish and two faced most of the people are. False promises by management are common. Pay is below industry average. Culture is verging on non-existent - socials are few and far between because most people can't stand the false atmosphere. No proper training schemes for employees at any level. Deceitful manner of work.
