Poorly Managed

Pros

There are not many pros

Cons

Poorly managed, unsafe environment for both dogs and staff. No air conditioning for the animals but they lie to the customers about it. Very few staff with true pet handling skills. Dogs are constantly getting in accidents or fights. Medications are not administered correctly. The customers do not see 99% of the horrible conditions the dogs are in so unfortunately they think they are leaving their dog in a great environment. Dogs have been lost on multiple occasions, gone home with the wrong owners and even died in the lobby.

Pros

Dogs! Working with the dogs is always a pro. Coworkers are really nice and chill.

Cons

The owner of the business is standoffish and unapproachable. When she is stressed, everyone feels the brunt of it and it's not good.

Pros

The crew was friendly and happy to be a part of a great team. Training used to last at least a month before being “on your own”. Staff used to be experienced and were expected to be professional. Paid above minimum wage with regular raises based on performance/title.

Cons

Started hiring younger, inexperienced staff. Write ups were thrown out and HR made excuses for underperforming team members. Level of care for the animals decreased as profits increased.
