Horrible management, no work-life balance. Expected to work outside of working hours.

Where do I begin... - Massive massive lack of diversity to the point where it is concerning. - If you are not part of the 'clique' then you will not progress - and this isn't something you can just become a part of - Derogatory comments thrown around the office and an unprofessional environment as a whole - CEO will drill into your brain time and time again that he 'doesn't believe' in work/life balance, expects a toxic amount of work ethic from employees where it affects your personal life - If they don't like you for whatever reason, they will find ANY excuse to get rid of you, regardless of performance - Once you have left, they will attempt to ruin your reputation and make it difficult for you to find other work - You will be sold a dream before working here and the reality of the job is nothing like it - Extremely performative inclusivity on LinkedIn and social media, Especially with their company name and their LinkedIn header, which is not an accurate representation of their company or what they 'stand' for - Understand that it's a start-up business, but staff retention is awful. No one has been there for more than 6 months (besides the 'clique') and the fact that this business has been standing for 3+ years, this fact is super concerning - You will never be praised or really acknowledged for any of your achievements - Huge hire/fire culture Tip for anyone looking to move out to Dubai for this role - there are so many better companies out there that you can work at that will not cause you to be in any of the situations that you can see all the previous reviews have experienced.
