Pros

The benefits are great. The technicians are knowledgeable. The salaries are within or higher than comparable company salaries.

Cons

The "support" staff are for the most part and entitled bunch that spend most of their time throwing each other under the proverbial bus. Too much "management" that likes to have meetings to tell you the rules of the day. Managers, supervisors and coordinators have and use the tools to micromanage technicians. There is a overuse of the word integrity, which this company does not have.

Pros

Having a hard time thinking of any. Pay is on par with industry but that is disappearing. The people we work with outside the office are good despite the leadership given from above.

Cons

Management by numbers. All that is important is the stock price and managements bonuses. What kind of company sends their employees an email that tells them 4-5 percent of Canadian employees will be cut in the near future, that really builds employee morale. Then turns around a few days later and tells them the cuts have already been done, like that is supposed to make you feel better

Pros

Wages and benefits are on par with industry although holiday structure needs to be brought into the 21st century. Good people to work with in the field . They do make a good fire alarm panel.

Cons

Company treats their field staff like crap and believes that any monkey can do their job. There is no company morale or motivation among employees. Staff, especially field staff, are constantly looking over their shoulders to see if they will be the next ones cut loose in the annual restructuring. Customers are always telling field techs that their office is a joke and that when they call, people in office do not know who they should talk to. Time to complete work is forever being cut down to the point that it becomes next to impossible to finish work on time and correctly. This could lead to people cutting corners to complete work on time so that they are not next on the chopping block. Not a good thing for your customers! There is an us and them attitude between the office/management staff and the field staff, it's almost like they work for different companies.
