      Pros

      consistently busy place. great neighbourhood, close to the seawall- beautiful Vancouver.

      Cons

      - Managers are abusive, they think they own your schedule, they don't let you work second jobs, and if they do, they make it hard to schedule with your second job. - Managers play favourites and take advantage of the control they possess. - no overtime pay - employer controls gratuities and takes tips for themselves but does not include as insurable earnings... even though they aren't supposed to and this being illegal.

      Flexible schedule. Prestigious restaurants. Sometimes great tips.

      Cons

      Toxic work environment. Staff don’t have enough support and are blamed for the shortcomings of management. Staff are berated and shamed regularly. Managers abuse their power and are rude and disrespectful towards employees. Aggression is rewarded and unfair treatment is the norm. Regular shifts are overtime with no breaks and time is not valued.
