Pros

The job comes with a lot of Autonomy and you have great flexibility to do things your way.

Cons

Not sure if TFT has a long term plan and it surely seems too comfortable in its skin.

Pros

All Remote Job so that is good, ML is in the startup phase so they are just taking whatever they are getting and usually these are really weird n quirky but interesting projects.

Cons

The worst HR department, I was told that I am wasting the HR time with my issues and complaints, I'm like, what is the HR department there for? Bad culture, these guys ask you to give a status twice a day, then end of the week too. They make you wake up for a call which goes 30 mins long every morning to just share whatever you did and what you'll do next. Honestly, if you don't nag the employee so much he might work more for you.

We thank you for taking out time and writing a review for us. We appreciate your candid feedback and are equally disappointed to understand that you feel this way. We can strongly say that providing such experience to our Partners is never an intent and nor our way. We are cautious and always strive to provide an enriching experience. Fortunately, we could correctly guess the person who has given the feedback and thus, we would be sharing a personalized view on your review. The HR department is definitely there to support Partners(employees) with their queries and concerns, and we had never mentioned that it is a waste of time. We only wanted you to understand that certain requests are low priority and need to be addressed in some time, and not immediately. Though, we addressed all your queries immediately. Secondly, we don’t ask our partners to share status twice a day, and at the end of the week. It is a practice which each project team decides upon based on their requirements, and follows. As a culture, we all are expected to share our daily plan and status if we are not client facing, and that’s about it. It also helps Partners to keep a track of their work, and to keep things easy for the Project Managers, to manage project deadlines and efforts. As for stand-up meetings, it is a part of almost all companies out there, as we all understand the importance of getting together, understanding objectives and achievements on individual and team level, sharing feedback, and being always aligned, to collaborate and deliver effectively and efficiently. Again, all these calls are set up by the Projects themselves as per their understanding and availability of all. As you have now started to work from a different continent, it has become a bit problematic for you. Yes, we do agree that we should not be hand holding Partners but facilitate them and enable them, and with the same intent, we went beyond for you, by providing you the opportunity to continue working with us while you study abroad, make exceptions for you in the policies as per your request, and all this to provide you with a great experience. It is unfortunate to see that all these personalized efforts taken for you went unrecognized and we are left with such poor feedback. We will definitely learn and improve from this incident and we thank you again for sharing these perspectives of yours. It will definitely help the potential employees to understand our culture and policies better and the efforts we are taking to continuously improve.
