Pros

- Good staff discount (50% for first purchase, 30% for subsequent purchases) That is the only good thing about working for them. Most part timers now are staying only because of this reason tbh.

Cons

I worked here less than a year and these are some stuff I have observed and been through. - Management is stingy and very bias. - Shows obvious favouritism to some staff. - Do not allow any eating (even small snacks) or drinking of sweet drinks on shift. - Unappreciative management - Management treats staff as outsiders (if a customer complains, the fault is entirely yours and they won’t try to protect you from unreasonable customers) - Management (namely Ser Lyn) is rude and talks down to staff

Pros

Made great friends during my time here. The people I worked with were the only redeeming part of the job.

Cons

1. Management is disorganized and out of touch with what actually happens on the ground. 2. Expected us to give 110% while only paying $10/hour — completely unreasonable for the workload. 3. Goals were often unrealistic and demotivating rather than encouraging. When you know you can’t hit a target no matter how hard you try, what’s the point? 4. Micromanagement was excessive — we were constantly timed without any understanding of the task complexity. For example, being told to “rack up more” when there wasn’t even physical space left to do so. 5. Suddenly laid off all part-timers citing “poor market sales,” only to start hiring again shortly after. That felt more like a cover-up than a genuine business reason. 6. There’s a lot of finger-pointing and not enough accountability. Instead of blaming the team or the market, maybe take a look at internal operations and leadership. Other brands are doing fine — the problem isn’t the industry, it’s the way this place is run.

Pros

- Flexibility (need to commit at least 2 weekdays and 1 weekend per week) - Distance (Jewel, Tampines, Orchard) - 30% off all apparels + free shipping monthly - Get to see first dips in store during stock in day on Fridays - Being aware of the upcoming sales

Cons

- Staff benefits are nerfed (used to be 50% off all apparels weekly when you have more than 2 shifts that week, and you fill up a Google sheet to get the new items before they are sold to the public. Now, you need to camp with the general public too with NO EARLY ACCESS. We have already feedback to the team more than 6 months ago to allow retail staff to have the benefit of gaining early access but nothing was done.) - Management do not care about retail staff welfare and feedback (Lately, there were no interactions between the HQ staff and the retail team except for that ONE cny gathering that we had. All TTR staff welfare outing invitations are only extended to full-time staff and interns, while the retail girls who have been working hard for the store did not get any welfare.) - Underpaid (Salary starts at $10/hr for new girls to $15/hr for 'experienced' staff who are labelled as senior part-timers. I'm not sure how they evaluate this but the interns (W, H, and H) are immediately promoted once they join the retail team after their internship. Meanwhile, other girls like me who have been with the team for more than a year are still paid the minimum.) - Customers are always king (Many times, retail girls are verbally abused by entitled customers but the management do not protect the staff despite the customer being in the wrong and the girls are just following SOPs. However, whenever the girls mess up just one bit, the management will go mayhem and start introducing new SOPs in the group chat just because of one individual.) - Slow response (During times when we need to contact the manager, she is always slow in her replies/unresponsive in calls and by the time she does respond, the problem would have already inflated and as usual the retail girls get the blame for it,
