Working for Opportunity Lab has given me the flexibility and freedom I want. I really enjoy the people I get to work with and am learning a lot along the way. I appreciate the trust within the company and the ability to lead and give input freely.
Cons
If you enjoy having the freedom to make your own schedule and appreciate working closely with a small group of people then you will love working for this company. If you want the structure that comes with a standard 8-5 job, this may not be the right fit for you.
The company and founder/president foster an environment that is supportive and flexible. The recent need to help guide clients' transition to working remotely through COVID is reflected in Opportunity Lab's culture and practice. There are multiple opportunities for personal growth and creative input. Each team member's voice and input are valued and heard. Very little feeling of hierarchy.
Cons
Because of the remote/always-on nature of some of the work, team members must create their own boundaries for work time, space, and demands. Bandwidth is often an issue.
