Working for Opportunity Lab has given me the flexibility and freedom I want. I really enjoy the people I get to work with and am learning a lot along the way. I appreciate the trust within the company and the ability to lead and give input freely.

If you enjoy having the freedom to make your own schedule and appreciate working closely with a small group of people then you will love working for this company. If you want the structure that comes with a standard 8-5 job, this may not be the right fit for you.

The company is led by Mark, a true visionary with a plethora of experience. Mark has created a collaborative and results-oriented culture, which has attracted some truly wonderful employees from many unique backgrounds. All have a voice and the ability to contribute where they feel drawn to. OppLab works with unique clients who do good things in the world and the company is continuously expanding its footprint. I have watched the company evolve over time and stay nimble and responsive to a changing world; however, it does not stray from its mission or values. A wonderful team to join if you are a person of purpose and have a desire to grow and make an impact.

The group is a small, intimate team with much less structure than most firms. Employees wear many hats and the nature of the size of the team and the business requires flexibility and a real commitment. I believe it's important to talk to the team about these factors and learn more in order to understand if the dynamic is a good fit for you and will allow you to thrive.
