Pros

Remote first, Solid teammates and generally optimistic company culture - good people to work with, building great tools and products.

Cons

Financial issues, multiple recent re-orgs/sales. Recently acquired by PE - big pressure to embrace AI and automate for GTM speed - at the cost of quality and culture, and people.

Pros

Remote work. For the most part you decide what to do when. More one-on-one work with students.

Cons

Very heavy workload. Work summers. Low pay compared to in-person. Admin heavy. Policy changes are constant, and teachers are on the frontlines sharing them with families so they take the brunt of all frustrations - admin doesn't communicate any policy changes with them. Time off while school isnin session is frowned upon, even though students work asynchronously.

Pros

Currently paying for insurance premiums. WFH is important.

Cons

No Sales / Growth. Financial instability. No advancement. Top heavy with Leadership.
