There is relentless pressure to increase rates, while basic human needs like time off, family accommodations, or even uninterrupted breaks are treated as inconveniences, i feel nervous to even take a wee break knowing if my teams icon goes idle my phone will surely ring asking what im doing. Lunch breaks feel negotiable at best and discouraged whenever workloads allow oversight to tighten.
