Java Developer Interview

Pros

I applied through on company portal. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TechBulls SoftTech (Pune City) in September 2019.

Cons

One day interview process. 2. First round starts with a coding exercise: 7 interview questions with increase in difficulty level from 1 to 7(4 pattern program and 3 file handling program ). 3. You are given about an hour to finish the coding exercise. 4. You should be able to code answers for at least 4-5 questions to clear this round. 5. The next round is face-to-face interview in which they will: ask you about your previous projects, check your comfort level with different programming languages, check your problem solving skills, check your object oriented programming skills etc.

Not Good Company

Cons

Here are a few points about what I observed and felt during my time at this company. All women, please read this first and then decide, as there are many good companies out there. Salary Discrimination: There's clear discrimination regarding salary, especially against female employees. Senior Management Behavior: Some senior figures, often men, don't behave appropriately towards female employees. Poor Management and Vision: The management lacks clarity of vision and direction. Concerning Incident: There's a particularly disturbing incident I heard about approximately a year ago. A colleague, who was struggling in her role and about to take maternity leave, was terminated immediately after formally requesting leave. While I cannot confirm the accuracy of this incident, it's essential to bring such matters to light to ensure the safety of others. Limited Benefits: While salaries are paid on time, they are below market standards, and there are no additional benefits offered. Stagnant Growth: Due to their narrow-minded approach, the company remains stagnant with approximately 100 employees. Despite having over 180 employees in January 2023, they've downsized significantly within a year. It's ironic that they still label themselves as a startup. The CEO, although kind and morally upright, cannot single-handedly drive the company forward. Having left this company, I felt compelled to write this review to shed light on my experiences. I encourage anyone who has faced similar mistreatment to share their stories as well.

Pros

Get good hands on. (For a fresher)

Cons

Unachievable worload every day. Unfair compensation. 3 months notice period which is not negotiable for 1 day. Lot of admin and management work. No bonuses which are promised at the time of joining. (Based on your performance they say but no one ever got that)
