Pros

Excellent group of co-workers who are very supportive and make the best of the situation they are in.

Cons

I have never worked for a company that was managed so terribly. No training is offered yet 99% of technical employees are hired are fresh out of college and have no experience. It's a recipe for disaster. The boss put no effort into developing these employees so if doesn't think you are fit for the job you get cut. While I was there I watched half the company get replaced for this very reason. The company also has no organizational structure. There is no HR department or other resources that a "real" company would have. This lets the boss treat you however he pleases and working is not fun when your constantly having your job security threatened. My advice: run away from this place. No matter how hard of a worker you are you will not feel validated or appreciated here. On paper they sound like a wonderful company to work with, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Pros

Good experience for what kind of job to avoid

Cons

CEO bullies employees Poor compensation No documentation of code Improper use of version control (no feature branches, vague commit messages, etc.) or outright no version control whatsoever (limitation of PLC software) Unclear or undecided specifications, leaving you waiting until the last minute before you even know what code changes are needed
