Customers are ruthless. Upper Management will end up just giving into aggressive customers and won't stick to any policy. Pay seemed okay at first, but hardly anyone has gotten a raise in the time I was at Splendid Spoon. Coworkers who took on every extra project they could were never rewarded. Upper management was regularly asked at team meetings if the business was doing well and if our jobs were secure after noticing a downward trend in sales and customer acquisition - we were always told regularly we were safe, but they did lie multiple times and ended up doing large layoffs without warning. Like many businesses, you are just a number to this company and you could be let go at any time.
