I have been working at Shell full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    - Great benefits
    - Relatively consistent
    - Many amazing employees

    Cons

    - Highly bureaucratic
    - Large leader-to-worker ratio
    - Easy to coast, hard to make a difference (may be a pro for some)

    Advice to Management

At some point, layoffs need to hit management. Due to the inflated number of managers, there are many redundant roles within the company that slow down decision making and make it difficult to contribute.
