At Shell, we believe in offering a competitive and contemporary benefits package that focuses on individual choice based on personal needs and preferences.
Our “Care and Protection” benefits emphasize improving the health and quality of life for our employees and their families, as well as flexibility and personal development. We offer competitive annual leave packages and do all we can to accommodate career breaks and sabbaticals in countries where these are applicable. To help you balance work and life, we consider flexible working pattern requests whenever possible; including working hours and in some cases working from home.
In addition to annual leave benefits, Shell is proud to be the first major integrated oil and gas company to introduce a new global standard of 16 weeks paid maternity leave. This initiative is intended to support working mothers and their families. Furthermore, Shell has broadened the scope to include fathers and adoptive parents. This change has been made to provide employees greater flexibility in balancing work and family and to ensure that we can attract and retain the diverse talent we need to continue as an industry leader.
Our "Wealth" benefits include Pension, Savings, and Employee Share Purchase Plans. These programs promote financial security through competitive employer contributions and attractive opportunities for employee participation.

Great company to work for
Great salary at the time. Industry headwinds resulted in lay-offs. Able to get stock options. Had a Health Care Spending Account. Would have been nice to have a Personal Spending Account at the time. Worst thing was that I would lose my HCSA amounts if I did not use them at the end of the year. Best thing was that the Salary was good at the time.
Company perks include free coffee and vacation, its flexible to work and the manager is very good in training and motivating employees.
Decent benefit package, work life balance
Flexible work life balance as long as the manager supports it. Good health benefits. Amazing paternal leave policy.

Great benefits while it lasts.
Good Pay and Flexible hours. Much hardship work.
Flex working time, health insurance, health spending accounts
Great stock purchase plan, pension, and 3 levels of health benefits ranging from Spending plus, basic coverage, and extended coverage.
