I worked at Ontario Power Generation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits and salaries are towards the top of the industry. High technology focus within a clean industry. A ;eader in health and safety.

    Cons

Often bring in foreign management who like to shake things up and leave chaos in their wake. Change from being a Crown corporation in the 1990s has lessened employee engagement and belief in the goals of the company.

    Advice to Management

Develop local management and promote through to the top of the company. Work with government to allow the making of decisions on supply expansion based on engineering studies, not political considerations.

Before you interview they have you do a security clearance. Make sure you get this done ASAP as it could take anywhere from weeks to months to process it. After that the interview is based on general behavioural questions
