Pros

Truly values driven, in a way that feels authentic and genuine. Good people doing good work with a shared purpose.

Cons

Quite chaotic and confused leadership. Sometimes it feels like they want to keep everyone happy and on-side at all times, but in doing so often fail to take meaningful action or give clear direction and make everyone unhappy as a result. Often shy away from taking positions on the basis that they want to avoid being seen as political, but this has definitely led to an over-cautiousness in some areas which can hamper the kind of clarity of vision which is needed to drive this kind of work, and has left certain marginalised groups out of the domestic abuse conversation.

Pros

Some great v hard working people across the organisation. Interesting work. Meet so many dedicated & passionate like minded people.

Cons

Not great managers- not strength based or nurturing - very top heavy. No real identity in the org. There are people who have been there for so long & not open to new perspectives & so little respect for new views/voices. There is a real sense of clique for those who have been there for years - very “them and us”. De skilling structure.
