I read these reviews before I started and I don't know why I didn't listen. Honestly, the worst job I've ever been in. Bullying is rife, everyone on this page knows who I'm talking about. - even HR - who, aren't interested in sorting it. They lied about so many things, there's not even time to list them.

Onsite car parking is very scarce or expensive and people parking on the nearby streets have had their cars 'keyed'. Senior IT management have little understanding of the realities of Agile software delivery and so have struggled to make it effective or explain it to business partners. The morale within the IT team is chronically low and at a level I've never experienced before. In early Dec 2019, it was felt that negative reviews within this service were contributing to an going recruitment problem and the entire IT Team, nearly 30 people, were asked to post positive company reviews. In early 2020, an already stretched IT team was drowned with overseas based contractors, to the point where the onshore team had to ignore their own assignments or leave the overseas teams blocked. Only one of the IT Team Leaders from March 2019 is still with Ripe in March 2020. Within the 2020 Staff Survey more than half of the IT team said that they did not expect to be with Ripe in 12 months. Ripe's response to that staff survey result was to sack people, just as the corona virus event was getting serious. Ripe's internal IT team needs a Leader.
